The contact owns a 2022 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while driving on the highway at approximately 40 MPH, the collision mitigation braking system engaged erroneously. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 51,250. The Camera/sensors are defective and are dying. My vehicle is less than 2 years old and all these features are not working. Honda is saying I need to replace the camera out of my own pocket. I'm seeing online that this is a common problem to a lot of Honda owners Forward collision avoidance
I was driving on the highway with no cars or obstacles in front of me. The car auto brakes for me. If not because there were no car behind me, I would have been smashed by the car in the back. This have happen twice now! Forward collision avoidance
