In owners' own words
Two incidences, one week apart, of car turning itself off while stopped at a red light. While stopped at the light, the a sensor flashed and the car automatically shifted from âdriveâ to âpark.â Entire car electrical system shut off. Driver was unable to shift back to drive, and was required to turn the car off while in a traffic lane, to then restart car to drive. Engine
Vehicle suddenly lost power and overheated while driving. Had to get towed to the dealership. Dealer advised that the thermostat had failed, which seems to be a common occurrence with these vehicles. Thermostat was replaced but continued to overheat, leading the dealer to suspect the engine was warped and in need of replacement. Engine
Speedometer & gauges will randomly blackout and not work and it causes the engine to do funny things while driving. Battery drains from the issues (stranded twice even after new batteries installed). Rear view camera sometimes glitches as well and freezes up. Engine
