The contact owns a 2019 Subaru Impreza. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V624000 (Exterior Lighting) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The front headlights have been on recall for some time now. When I last contacted the dealership they said they wouldn't fulfill the repair and also said that they would no longer be making parts for the car and may not ever fix the headlights but I waited to see if that wasn't the case. The front lights are low and barely does anything when driving in evening or late night, making it hard to see items ahead and almost causing accidents twice already. I can barely see railings while turning onto highway at night with these terrible front lights. It has been more than a year and a half since the recall and nothing is being done by the manufacturer to remedy the issue. Exterior lighting
