In owners' own words
2019 Nissan rouge aeb brake systems engages without notice on several occasions. I was driving thru a parking lot during the day and it engaged and at night and on a cloudy day on a street. Took it to the dealership they indicate that there is not a problem and the car is safe because they could not replicate the action. The car has problems I do not know why they cannot replicate it but it does brake on its own. Service brakes · reported at 2,700 miles
AEB system spontaneously engaged while driving down roadway. No reason for AEB system to engage. Nissan has a "safety campaign" not a recall. Very hazardous situation and affects many year models of the Nissan Rogue already 14 fatalities and 5 injuries. These vehicles need to be recalled immediately and towed to the dealerships for repair. Very dangerous to drive and can come to an abrupt stop without warning. Service brakes
Driving in a parking ramp with no obstructions visible, my car stopped after the aeb was activated. There was a loud noise and the car stopped even though I had my foot on the gas. After it came to a stop, it started again. The car is currently at the dealership being looked at. This is a couple weeks after my car had an error with this system pop up when I was driving on the expressway. Service brakes · reported at 4,760 miles
