In owners' own words
Engine failed while driving on busy highway at high speeds. Engine suddenly stopped, forcing us to coast to a stop on a narrow shoulder. Safety was impacted by the risk of impact by oncoming vehicles. Check engine lamp illuminated shortly before failure, giving little warning of a problem. Upon inspection of the engine, engine oil could be seen sprayed out from the front of the engine under the intake manifold area. Engine
Engine was updated regarding software , but engine shut down while in hwy operation at accelerating speeds and immediatly shut down reducing speed to 20 mph may cause fatal accident if trator trailer rear ends you during this occurace since one was coming up or traffic in general considering people don't react anymore. Dealers seam reluctant to reports these occurances. Engine · reported at 7,200 miles
My vehicle broke down on my family 2 hours away. The suv started engine failure with the engine light coming on then the rpmâs reved up to 4000 and started chugging. We stoped at the gas station shut the vehicle off and got it towed home to a local shop. I have the 2.4 engine and less then 130,000 miles on it and the shop said my piston is gone and my engine is bad. Engine
