The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for an oil change, and the mechanic informed the contact that there was no oil in the engine. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was in motion on a highway, there was white smoke coming from the engine. Immediately after pulling over more white smoke came out of the engine towards the rear of the motor. After exiting the vehicle flames appeared from under the car near the rear of the motor, the flames grew from all side of the engine. The fire spread to the dash and interior of the car causing the passenger airbags to blow. Engine · reported at 32,177 miles
