In owners' own words

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Fit. The contact stated that at start-up, the fuel and mileage gauge failed to display or displayed unintelligible information preventing the contact from knowing how many miles to empty. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not repaired due to cost. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000. Electrical system · reported at 40,000 miles
Lately, on startup in the mornings, the odometer screen has been glitching or clearing entirely. It seems to happen on the coldest mornings. The issue clears up after being on the road for a while, but how long it takes to get back to normal varies by the day. Some days the glitch starts while the car is stationary and warming up. On other days it occurs once I am already a few miles down the road. Electrical system · reported at 28,850 miles
digital display with mileage, gas maintenance information intermittently fails or appears scrambled. Could possibly be connected to temperature but not consistent. It is a safety issue in that you don’t know how much gas you have and you cannot check maintenance information. This has been happening intermittently for about 2 1/2 years. Electrical system
