When driving at speeds between 45 and 65 the steering wheel will start shaking side to side violently. I have had the truck for about a month and it has happened 4 times. It shakes so bad you almost lose control. The only way to get it to stop is to slow way down, to approximately 15 mph or stop completely. This is pretty convenient when your on the interstate. Ford needs to offer a repair before someone dies! Steering · reported at 33,100 miles
While accelerating and entering an interstate, I drove over a rough section of asphalt while merging into the driving lane, which resulted in my steering wheel and front suspension vibrating and shaking in a violent and dangerous manner. I had to immediately deaccelerate and pull off towards the shoulder in order to get it to stop. Researching forums and I learned that is being referred to as a "death wobble".
