In owners' own words
Since my second oil change (vehicle is under 15000 miles currently) the check engine light will randomly come on and then go away. It would not alarm me, but I am hearing the shifting of the power train now more often than before. A clicking as it shifts up and down. The engine is a cvt, but from what other mechanics have told me, this is not how it should sound and should not be how it performs. Power train · reported at 14,922 miles
The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would hesitate upon the depression of the accelerator pedal without warning. The vehicle had yet to be serviced or diagnosed for the failure. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000. Power train · reported at 60,000 miles
The transmission has been having problems since 2019 with shift delays and shuttering or jumping that pulses and surges. Iâve taken it to Nissan several times prior to warranty going out but they say they have not been able to reproduce it. Now that the warranty is expired they have been able to reproduce all of my complaints related to the transmission at $6000 price tag. Power train
