In owners' own words
On 12/29.2015 At approximately 8:00 am on a clear bright day I was driving near my my home returning from and errand. I was approximately 90% through a slight right turn when the electronic power steering went out causing the vehicle to leave the road, continue down a ditch hitting a concrete drive, concrete mail box and a power pole. The vehicle was totaled and I had soft tissue bruising, cuts and abrasions. Steering · reported at 12,000 miles
Three times we have gotten an alarm that there is a steering malfunction and to drive carefully. We experienced a loss of power steering. We have had it in for service twice. The first time, the dealer reprogrammed the computer, which did not solve the problem. The second time, they said they needed to replace the steering wheel torque sensor, which they tried to order, but said it is not currently available. Steering
Car repeatedly gives stabilitrack warning while driving and power steering goes out completely. It is incredibly dangerous and it appears this was a problem with the previous model year as well. This has continued to happen and looking online it looks like many owner of this year are plagued with this problem and the cost to fix is very expensive, even though it is a known recall for the previous model year.
