In owners' own words
Only have 81000 miles on my versa took to shop and did diagnose on it said I need a new transmission I donât even drive that much and quoted $8000 to replace it I called a transmission shop and they told me those cars are known to have bad transmission Nissan needs to step up and admit the transmission or faulty Power train
I started having issues with my transmission around 68,000 and transmission started to slip while driving anywhere high way , side street, and when I was taking it in the transmission kept dropping and became very dangerous to even get it to the dealer ship , had to replace whole transmission about $4000 to fix. Power train
The transmission in this car is highly volatile and it's problems may lead to an on-road failure. The manufacturer is aware of this but they are not actively making a remedy available to prevent a potential accident. Dealerships refuse to address the known manufacturing problem with a free safety check. Power train · reported at 71,214 miles
