In owners' own words
I was driving on the highway when I proceeded to the turn lane to turn left crossing two lanes of traffic and the vehicle just shut down no warning whatsoever no check engine lights no oil lights nothing and it wouldnât turn back on when trying it but after about 5 times it turned on and I was able to get it off the highway but couldnât go any further as the vehicle was making a loud noise and the car was shaking Engine
While driving a knocking sound occurred and the engine temperature began to rise. Eventually the suv begins to stall and starts to lose power. Once stopped (pulled over safely) I noticed that the coolant is overflowing and gushes out along the side of the hood. When adding more coolant, it continues to overflow once driving and the engine temp rises again and begins to stall. Seems to not be able to hold coolant. Engine · reported at 100,000 miles
We were driving our car and it all of a sudden just stopped working. We luckily were able to pull over before it stopped completely, no noise, jerk motion or anything the engine just stopped. We had it towed to a mechanic who said our engine blew. It only had 140,000 miles on it but the repair/replacement we were quoted would have cost us more than the vehicle was even worth so we ended up having the car junked. Engine
