Vehicle started stall without warning when driving. No error code is recorded in car. No check engine or other lights appear on the dash. There are many blogs on the internet about this problem and when I contacted fiat (Jeep) they had no solution. It is dangerous and some type of response from chrysler is needed with a solution. 2015 Jeep Compass stalls and loses power steering with no warning. It has happened at low speeds in my neighborhood as well as on the highway. The rpms will suddenly drop and then shoot back up and the engine will die. The power steering goes out when the engine dies. No check engine light comes on. No codes given. While pulling out of parking space engine shut down. While driving on a road the same day vehicle stopped running - engine shut down - had difficulty pulling off road because steering did not work.
