When accelerating, the car will shake as it goes into first gear. As the car continues to accelerate the car will shake for about 5 seconds and then launch forward it is only a matter of time before the delay causes me to get hit, or the launching forward causes me to hit someone else. This is a continuous issue that started happening in my car about 1 year after purchase, and has gotten continuously worse Power train
The car shutters in between gears when accelerating. It has been "fixed" by the recall 4 times but continues to have this problem. Ford says I teach my car bad habits by slowly accelerating. How do they expect me to drive in rush hour traffic? I'm worried I'm going to hit someone. They refuse to write me a slip for getting my tcm updated.
