Reading the numbers
Across the 12 model years of the Nissan Versa in this data, 2013 sits 8th by complaint volume. 2012 draws the most.
Filings have fallen off, 12 in the last three years against 62 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.
The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 50,256 miles.
In owners' own words
I was on the street and the car just stopped going forward in the middle of the road. Had to have it towed home. Now the car starts, juggle back and forth but I can't go over 45 miles per hour. No one at Nissan will help me. Tells me it is not under warranty. This is my only means of transportation. With covid I don't make enough to buy another car and live a normal life. I am still paying for a broken car. Power train
Car wonât accelerate past 25mph and is very loud. I took it to a Nissian dealer service center and they told me that they canât get the code to come up for a transmission but they think thatâs the problem. However, the Nissans that came out in 2013 with my make and model had bad transmissions and Nissan wonât help or cover the transmission expenses that existed at the time of manufacturing. Power train
