Oil leaked onto sparkplug, and caused engine misfire. While driving on the expressway the vehicle started misfiring causing us to have to exit get the vehicle serviced. The service shop confirmed this issue happens with honda vehicles, and we observed a recall has been issued for this exact issue, but my VIN, for some reason, is not eligible. The check engine light flashed when this issue occurred. Engine
Engine misfire causing vehicle loss of speed. This vehicle problem was recalled per Soto et al. v. American Honda Motor Co., Inc., Case No. 3:12-cv-1377-SI (N.D. Cal.). However, it was limited to 8 years after purchase. I feel this recall should be covered longer as my vehicle has only 125K miles and requires engine rebuild costing approximately $3000. Engine

Consumer writes in regards to dealership refusal to provide loaner vehicle until recall repairs are complete, refusal to replace key and battery. *Smd the consumer stated there were several recalls on the vehicle.
