The contact owns a 2010 Honda Odyssey. While closing the rear driver's side door, the door fell off. The vehicle was towed to the dealer (pearson Honda in midlothian, va) where the contact was informed to pay for the repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the failure was unusual and did not accept responsibility. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 93,000. The driver side sliding door fell off when trying to put my kids in the vehicle. The vehicle was stationary and not on. Luckily, I was able to push my 3 year old out if the way or he would have been severly injured. Instead, he just has scraped need and is confused why I pushed him.
