The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, the air bag warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the sensor in the passenger side seat failed and needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact received a recall notification for nhtsa campaign id number 13v282000 (air bags , electrical system) and stated that the part needed to perform the repair was unavailable. The orc module and the abs modules both failed and had to be replaced. The dealership couldn't tell me why so I had to replace out of pocket. The airbag and break lights among other lights were always on and also the door locks would randomly trigger to lock and unlock. The speedometer would also not work at times. These problems would happen when the vehicle was stopped or in motion and on any type of road. Air bags · reported at 72,000 miles
