In owners' own words

I keep calling and complaining about the safety issue on my car but I always get the same response: recall status: recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available. If I get into an accident I may get seriously injuries or even die. What I suppose to do to get this very important safety issue resolved in my car? Please let me know if there is any other gov. Office that can help me with this problem. Thank you. Air bags
The contact owns a 2011 Mercedes-Benz C300. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v081000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available. Air bags
Mercedes dealerships continue to state that they are waiting for mbusa to give them the remedy for the airbag replacements. No specific date of injury, are they waiting for an injury to occur? Takata is going bankrupt, their website provides a airbag replacement link which sends us to the dealerships whom refuse to replace the airbags. They have had this same excuse ever since I learned of the defect. Air bags
