The dashboard of the vehicle has cracked significantly. I'm concerned that the integrity of the dash is now comprised and if I were to be involved in an accident pieces could be discharged and injure myself or a passenger. Additionally, the issue could be compounded should the air bag deploy and the broken, loose portions of the dash be caught in the deployment of the air bag, discharging at an accelerated speed. The plastic dashboard is cracked on top of gauge cluster. I am concerned the dash may shatter in a crash if the air bags deploy due to the crack causing the entire dash to be compromised.. This is a safety issue should a airbag deployment happen. I have noticed the dash has been cracked for about a year but didnt find out until today that it has been an ongoing issue with other gm owners. Air bags
