In owners' own words
Erratic speed shown on speedometer. Shows zero at one time and then read max out at 120. Took it to have repaired and was told that they had had numerous others with the same problem. Cost to repair $600!!! I found a website with 209 posted complaints of the same problem. This is clearly a safety issue that needs attention. With a possible interaction with the cruise control not to mention inaccurate speed. Electrical system · reported at 50,000 miles

I started my car and while I was in park the speedometer said 70mph. While I was driving it would register over 120mph. I had no idea what speed I was truly going. This is a scary feeling especially with my three children in the car. I tried turning off the car putting it in drive and back to park thinking perhaps it was stuck, but nothing works. I see this is a common problem...Help?? Electrical system · reported at 164,020 miles
