In owners' own words

The same model and year has a recalled for a steering issue. But due to mine having a salvage title it is not cover. They say it is NOT a safety issue. And that is NOT true. It is to the point that I can’t hardly even turn it. It is so hard to turn the steering wheel. And it is getting worse. It is a safety issue if you can’t turn the steering wheel it can cause a wreck. Please please help me with this issue.. Steering
The steering makes an awful noise when turning. This is usually at low speeds. This same problem was corrected while it was under warranty at the dealership. However, now I am past the mileage warranty and nothing will be done. I have contacted GMC several times and there were no suggestions. This is very disappointing seeing that it has been less than a year since the part was replaced under warranty. Steering · reported at 48,000 miles
