Takata recall I received a recall notice from Ford motor company on july 2016 about a recall on my vehicle, the passenger frontal airbag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash resulting in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants. I called covington Ford and Ford customer service on 11/15/17 and the both stated that the parts are still not available and would contact me when they would be available. Air bags
Takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Ford Ranger. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v384000 (air bags). The part to do the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. "Takata recall" it' been over a year that I received the recall letter and nothing has been done, I don't even want to drive the truck because of the danger of getting hurt, I have had 3 misses of cars rear ending me and freaks me out of my wife getting hurt, I can not even sell it, I have sitting in my garage a piece of garbage that I'm terrified to drive.
