The contact owns a 2006 Ford Ranger. The contact stated that nhtsa campaign number: 18v023000 (air bags) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for repair. The dealer (skagit Ford, 680 auto blvd, burlington, wa 98233) stated that the parts were unavailable for the repair. The manufacturer confirmed that parts were unavailable for the repair. I have gotten numerous notices of recall and have taken my Ranger to the local Ford dealer , spradley fore in pueblo colorado. They scheduled me an appointment and then told me upon arrival they did not have the parts and couldn't replace the air bags. They said Ford was concentrating on areas of the country with high humidity and pueblo, colorado did not qualify. I have now gotten notices not to drive the vehicle. Takata recall; I took my 06 Ford Ranger to jim burke to have my recall fixed on may 31 2016 they kept it all day. I picked it up at end of day ,my air bag light was still on I asked the service adviser about it , they said I would have to bring it back another day and I would be charged to check it out. Today is 7/21/16 my air bag light still comes on .I don't think jim burke Ford ever replaced my defective part Air bags · reported at 7,625 miles
