In owners' own words

Driving 25 mph. Rear differential locked up. Drive line separated from the pinion gear. Violently thrown into the steering column. The rear differential was beyond repair. A replacement diffenential had to be replaced. Expensive repair. Chrysler refused to reimburse for the repair. Said it was my fault for not knowing about the existing recall notice. I was never notified of any such recall until after the incident. Power train · reported at 153,000 miles

I've received numerous recalls about the rear axle pinion nut. I've contacted 3 different dealerships in the area and either the part still isn't available or they just won't return my calls. I have not had an issue yet with the truck and I hope I never do since Dodge won't call me back. This is very frustrating!! Apparently, this product failed at some point and now I can't get the part replaced. Power train · reported at 52,896 miles
