Got back into car at a convenient mart. Started it and the engine revved up. Everything shut down and then the alarm started going off. Could not start the car or stop the alarm. Towed to dealer and dealer cant get it to communicate with scanner. They cant find what is wrong. First had a problem with car shutting down and would not start so I bought a battery,because it kept draining then starter made noise had to replace it , then my car started over heating so I was told it was the reservoir so I bought one , now my transmission slips in reverse. Kbb shows ignition recall on the 2010 Dodge journey my vehicle randomly shuts off while driving with no other issues. Some days it does fine. Could be a couple weeks and then will randomly shut off making it very unsafe for a family vehicle. Dodge dealership says there no open recall on the vehicle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
