Reading the numbers

Across the 5 model years of the Dodge Caliber in this data, 2010 draws comparatively few complaints; 2007 is the outlier year.

Filings have fallen off, 16 in the last three years against 34 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 78,000 miles.

In owners' own words

Every so often the car will not start when you put the key in the ignition and turn it. It does nothing, makes no noise. It acts as if you did nothing. You turn the key and nothing happens. Most times, when you turn the key back to the original position and try again, it will start as if nothing was wrong. It is just weird. This has happened to me at least 15 times over the past year and a half. Electrical system · reported at 12,000 miles
