Reading the numbers

Across the 3 model years of the Saturn Outlook in this data, 2009 ranks 3rd by complaint volume — 2008 draws the most.

Filings have fallen off, 8 in the last three years against 18 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 54,000 miles.

In owners' own words

I have a 2009 Saturn Outlook and the passenger side head light went out in march of 2011 (there was no message in the car to indicate this either). I took it to the local gm dealership and had the light bulb replaced. Which cost over $40 (because of the difficulty with having to remove the tire just to replace the bulb). To my unpleasant surprise the passenger side head light is out again after only 3 months. Exterior lighting · reported at 46,000 miles
Right headlamp burnt out october 2009. Had replaced bad bulb and then failed again in november 2009. Took to dealership and was told they replaced the harness and bulb due to harness being melted. Now right headlight failed again 10-22-11. This is a big safety concern in that you can't just swap out the bulb but you have to pull off the front bumper just to replace the bulb. Thank you for your time. Exterior lighting
I have a Saturn Outlook 2009 and only had it a few months before the headlight went out and I thought it just blew out so I had it changed then it went out a month later they told me it was the wires holding it together I think it ridiculous I have to pay for this cause its a safety issue . I see that alot of people are having issues with this and I think there should be a recall. Exterior lighting
