Reading the numbers
Across the 4 model years of the Hyundai Azera in this data, 2008 draws comparatively few complaints; 2006 is the outlier year.
Filings have fallen off, 5 in the last three years against 22 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.
The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 64,000 miles.
In owners' own words
Power drivers seat moves on its own. It moves forward with the back seat rest pushing me and actually pinning me into the steering wheel this occurs both while parked with the engine in the off or running, and in while the vehicle is being driven at any speed. The motion of the seat varies from sever to minor movement. It does not make any different if on the highway or urban streets. Unknown cause at this time. Seats · reported at 139,000 miles
Power driver seat moved on its own on numerous occasions to its full rear position, seat back moved to almost full recline, and seat height went to lowest position. This happened both while vehicle was unattended with ignition off and while vehicle was being operated at various speeds. Each time it happened while being operated I was unable to drive and had to stop vehicle and manually reset seat controls. Seats · reported at 39,100 miles
