The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. While driving approximately 30 mph the fuel gauge reading began to fluctuate. After the reading began to fluctuate the contact fueled the vehicle and the empty fuel tank warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where a new fuel level sensor was installed. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 32,000. Ran out of gas because the gas gauge had quit working approximately 2 months before this incident. The automobile becomes very difficult to steer because the power steering pump quits working. You must apply a tremendous amount of force to turn the steering wheel just to get the vehicle off the road and you can't turn it quickly. It is a very dangerous situation.
