The contact sustained lacerations on the nose, but medical attention was not required. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. Contacted dealer in 2016 about takata recall. Told me the parts were not available. Contacted dealer in oct 2017 again, told the parts were still not available. I believe the general motors has had sufficient time to acquire replacement air bag inflator and that they are deliberately stalling hoping the problem will simple go away.
