The contact owns a 2007 Buick Lucerne. The contact stated that the instrument panel gauges were not visible in the daytime. He took the vehicle to the dealer on two occasions, but the failure was not corrected. The contact was pulled over by the police and ticketed because he could not determine how fast he was driving. The contact was not in agreement with the recall remedy repair which does not correct the problem. Also, he stated the defective part should be replaced with a new part, not to disable and remove the part as mentioned in the recall. There was no failure mileage Electrical system
I have a 2007 Buick Lucerne, 69,000 miles. Back door could not be opened, passenger trapped inside. Contacted gm, as I felt this was a safety concern. I was told to go to Buick dealer & was a given incident number which they provided to my Buick dealer. This has been a problem with many buicks for years & they will do nothing.
