The dealer was unable to inform when the part would become available. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The contact owns a 2006 Buick Lucerne. Whenever the vehicle is driven at any speed during the daytime, the contact cannot read the instrument panel gauges, mainly the speedometer. The dealer has not been notified. The current mileage was 9,200 and failure mileage was 200. The dealer informed the consumer they had a module that would increase the intensity of the dash lights. : The contact stated, the backlighting for the instrument panel is not sufficient enough to read the instruments in daylight hours which takes ones attention from the road.
