The contact owns a 2005 Dodge RAM 3500. The contact stated that nhtsa campaign number 13v528000 (steering) had exceeded a reasonable time for repair. The contact received the recall notification in november of 2013. The contact stated that he contacted his local dealer where he was informed that the parts were not expected to become available until november of 2014. The contact had not experienced the failure. I received recall notice from chrysler in january 2014 n62 / nhtsa 13v-528. The replacement left tie rods were recalled due to the fact that the replacements were defective. It has been over six months since the tie rods replacements were recalled. Dealer will not schedule a inspection until the replacements for the replacements are received. What is the hold up??? Chrysler is making record profits. Steering
2005 Dodge RAM 3500 4x4 laramie hit a rough seam in the road causing the front of the vehicle to shimmy. *Kb ***nar*** the shimmy was so severe that the consumer had to apply the brakes and bring the vehicle to almost a complete stop. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who replaced a worn inner tie rod end and steering shock. The consuemr requested reimbursement form the manufacture. Steering · reported at 50,474 miles
