In owners' own words
I came outside to find that the rear window of the convertible top had come loose and was laying on the rear deck being held to the fabric in 1 small place. The car had been parked outside for 1 day. Luckily it didn't fall out while I was driving, potentially shattering the glass near my head. Until the car is repaired it is unusable in foul weather due to water running in the passenger compartment. Structure · reported at 65,577 miles
While driving on the interstate, the rear window in the convertible top detached and fell out, causing the car behind me to...React in a very unsafe manner. The sudden wind inside my car caused a very unsafe condition. This has happened to a number of Crossfire owners. Big problem. When it detached, it ripped out the wiring for the defogger and scratched the tonneau cover. Structure · reported at 39,000 miles
The chrome trim on the backside of my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire interior door pull is peeling and becoming very sharp. This occurs on both driver and passenger doors. I recently sliced my finger open while closing the driver's door. There is a tsb out to fix this issue, but since my car is out of warranty Chrysler will do nothing. This is a safety concern.
