The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 54,500 miles.
In owners' own words
I have a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire. The radio display is very dim and cannot be read n normal daylight conditions. This a possible safety hazard for those who will concentrate on the radio instead of the road. Althought I don't believe I woould do this I find myseld looking at the radio trying to see the station when I should be keeping my eyes on the road. The situation is made very sangerous by the dim display. Electrical system
Daimler Chrysler have issued a recall to all merc brand cars for a voltage regulator check and replacment. The Crossfire has the exact same system as the slk but has not been included in the recall, there are dozens of cases where the lights dim at stop lights and at idle where it is clearly down to the voltage not being regualted. Dc have brushed aside my complaints. Electrical system
