In owners' own words

My Hyundai Tiburon 03's clutch was burned out, but I've been driving a manual for a pretty long time and before, my toyota celica never had this problem. From what I heard, Hyundai has defective clutch parts and they won't cover this under their warranty. The parts and the labor at Hyundai would be extremely expensive. I would not want my car to have to replace the clutch every 2 years, from what I heard. Power train · reported at 57,000 miles
While shifting and without warning the vehicle stalled. Driver was unable to restart vehicle. Had the vehicle towed to the dealer, and mechanic determined that the clutch needed to be replaced. *Ak three days after the vehicle was serviced at the dealer the clutch burned out. The tow truck operator indicated that there was not hydraulic fluid in the slave reservoir which controls the clutch. Power train · reported at 12,848 miles
Hi. I own a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon gt 2.7 6 Speed. The clutch went out at 18, 000 miles. I took it to the dealer with a copy of the class action lawsuit regarding the Tiburon clutch issue. They told me that it was my driving, and that they never heard of this problem. They said that it would be up to me to pay for this, which will be about $1600-2000 out of my pocket. I refused to pay for this. Power train · reported at 18,400 miles
