The contact owns a 2003 GMC Yukon. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, the speedometer increased to an abnormal reading of 80 mph but the vehicle did not increase in speed. The vehicle was not taken to dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was contacted and advised that there were no recalls for the vehicle. No assistance was provided. The instrument panel gauges are sticking the odometer is not working at all the oil gauge is pinned and the other gauges also stick. The odometer and oil gauge is all the time and nothing has been done to repair the problem gm has informed me that they will not help me get this very dangerous defect repaired. This is a defect in the panel cluster not wear and tear or anything we have done. Electrical system · reported at 68,702 miles
Dt: contact states while driving approximately 70 mph vehicle loses complete power. The service dealer states the vehicle has an electrical problem, and they will try to repair the problem.
