: The contact stated the abs engaged at speeds of 1 mph. There is a nhtsa recall, # 05v379000, regarding the abs brakes. The vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however it is not included in the recall due to the vin. The manufacturer was alerted; however no repairs have been made. Master cylinder was replaced on two different occasions. Vehicle has been taken to dealer on six different occasions for brake problems. Dealer has provided repairs under warranty until last time. Consumer has had another mechanic to inspect brakes, and mechanic found that rotors were wearing out unevenly, causing other parts to damage. *Ak the brakes were poor and not safe. The anti-lock brakes activate for no reason on dry pavement causing the pedal to go to the floor and create an exceptionally long stopping distance. This problem occurs almost every time I try to stop or during stopping at speeds less than 10 m.P.H. There is a current recall on g.M. Models 00-02 but they said my 99-Yukon doesn't qualify when its having the exact same symptoms-now what? Service brakes, hydraulic · reported at 79,000 miles
