Reading the numbers

Across the 8 model years of the Chevrolet Venture in this data, 2003 draws comparatively few complaints; 1997 is the outlier year.

Filings have fallen off, 5 in the last three years against 6 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 64,688 miles.

In owners' own words

2003 Chevy Venture, constantly having non working brake lights . Replacing bulbs constantly because of the melting. Replaced them again with a lubricate, that I was told was needed for this type of car. Still having problems. Getting tired of having to fix the brake lights everytime I need to go out.!!!!!!!!!!! Tired of being pulled over by the cops because of my non working brake lights............ Exterior lighting · reported at 12,500 miles
2003 Chevrolet Venture brake lights failed multiple times. Only found out when warned by police that no brake lights were operational. Sockets were melted. Replaced the tail lamp circuit board. After two months the same problem occurred again, resulting in no brake lights. Repeated replacement of circuit board, and the same problem occurred again after five months. No brake lights=safety hazard. Exterior lighting · reported at 85,000 miles
We own a 2003 chevy Venture and I have replaced the front driver signal bulb three (3) times and the rear brake/tail lights four (4) times already. I just changed both brakelight bulbs 03/19/12 and yesterday another motorist pulled around me to inform me that my brakelights are out. Once again I opened the brakelight housing and noticed the bulb housing is melting. Could someone please advise. Exterior lighting
