A police report was not filed. The vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 15v701000 (engine and engine cooling). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. Gm recall 15757 issued dec. 2015 -Parts not available. Letter dated feb. 2016 -Parts available. May 2016 - dealer still can not get parts from gm. Pontiac/ gm customer assistance completely useless - maintains parts are available but doesn't know when or how the parts are being sent to dealers. Recall involves potential fire in vehicle do to oil leak. I don't believe parts are available. Engine
