Dt: consumer stated brake failure resulted in extended stopping distance. Took to a dealer for this issue 3 times. Dealer's general manager said there was some type of problem but he did not know what caused it. No repairs or parts replaced. *Ak on oct 18, 2004 the rear rotors were turned. Even after the rotors were turned the brakes still performed poorly. The right fog light fell off while driving. Service brakes, hydraulic · reported at 9,000 miles
Dt: 2002 GMC Sierra. The consumer states the abs brakes started pulsating, and consumer's vehicle hit another vehicle. This caused the brakes to go out. The vehicle was taken to the dealership, they told him the abs sensors failed. They were cleaned and now they seem to be okay. This problem has not happened since. On 01 nov, I was pulling into a parking spot when my brakes totally failed causing me to crash into a parked car. I was entering the parking spot below 5 mph when the brakes failed. I dropped my truck off at a repair center on 03 nov and they informed me that both the left front hub bearing was shot and the anti-lock brakes sensor was shot. Both items were replaced.
