Reading the numbers

Across the 5 model years of the BMW 325I in this data, 2002 ranks 3rd by complaint volume — 2006 draws the most.

Filings have fallen off, 5 in the last three years against 10 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 80,000 miles.

In owners' own words

My air bag light came on and will not go off. I know someone else who has the same make, model and year as I do and they told me that their air bag light is on as well. I am afraid that if I were involved in an accident my air bag will not work. I feel that this could definitely be a safety issue and should be resolved immediately. Thank you for your time and consideration in getting this issue resolved. Air bags · reported at 138,000 miles
