I have 2 gm trucks in my family. Both have had the same problem with all the door hinges - the hinge pins lock up and the doors will not open or close without deforming the body. I have been told (when I went in for repair at a dealership) that this is a standard repair for all gm trucks. The risk to the passenger is that the sheetmetal weakens and the hinge rips from the body of the truck. Structure · reported at 60,000 miles
