Reading the numbers

Across the 11 model years of the Plymouth Voyager in this data, 2000 draws comparatively few complaints; 1996 is the outlier year.

Filings have fallen off, 5 in the last three years against 13 in the three before. That is normal as a generation leaves the road.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 60,000 miles.

In owners' own words

Vehicle shifted into reverse by it self after idling in park for about 30 seconds, it rolled back causing the driver's door (which was open) to hit the bumper of a parked car thus damaging the door and the left front fender.*Ak I personally saw and heard the moment the vehicle shifted into reverse, I was about 20 feet away from the vehicle when I saw the back up lights come on and the vehicle start to roll back. My van started emitting a whisling sound after the warranty of 30,000 miles ran out at 40,000 miles and eventually the transmission doesn't want to shift. I took it to the dealer and the owner said that he will eat the cost but I found out that they had sold my wife an extended warranty. Now at 103,000, its doing the same thing of not shifting. The dealer said that we need to pay for the replacement. Power train · reported at 103,000 miles
Consumer's toddler was able to disengage vehicle from park to reverse without depressing brake pedal, causing the vehicle to roll backwards, and resulting in an accident, injuring one occupant outside of vehicle . Consumer has contacted the manufacturer. *Ak this accident occurred because the vehicle is not equipped with an interlock safety feature. Power train
