While driving, consumer stated vehicle stalled, the rpm gauge stopped working, consumer was able to travel approx 5 miles then service engine light came on and vehicle completely shut off, when consumer brought vehicle in for service, dealer informed consumer there was a recall, 01v357, consumer had not received recall notice and felt dealer took no responsibility for neglecting to inform her of recall. Engine stalls when driving. It has also came to a low idle and nearly died at other times when slowing to a stop. There were no specific consequences to this problem as of yet. A maintenance shop blew out all airflow sensors and replaced vacuum hoses. There is a current recall on the same year model of this car, but not the correct vin range. Problems with sudden lurching and no response from accelerator when depressed. *Mr the vehicle suddenly lurched forward,the tachometer dropped to zero. The consumer noticed a loss of speed. The consumer stepped on the accelerator and didn't get a response from the vehicle with difficulty steering and when the consumer attempted to brake and or park, neither responded. *Scc Engine and engine cooling
