The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vin was included in a voluntary manufacturer's recall; however, the manufacturer stated that it had expired. Vehicle frame rusted out. No events lead up to failure. Problem detected while driving. Vehicle felt as though it was swaying. Pulled over and saw that rear axle mount was detached from vehicle. Had to bring to professional welder. Repair cost in thousands. No guarantees of how long it will last as another failure is guaranteed. Serious safety issue that needs to be addressed by manufacture.
