Plastic intake cracks at heater hose connection. This is a police car which can idle for long periods at a time.This condition leaks antifreeze into the well of the spark plug which causes a misfire,and the car overheats if not constantly watched.We have changed manifolds after calling Ford and we were told only a crack behind the alternator was under warranty. : The contact stated an independent service mechanic found a milky substance in the radiator coolant reservoir indicating a problem with the intake manifold.
