In owners' own words
Two days ago, I began feeling slipping and surging in my transmission. I immediately called and scheduled a service appointment. Yesterday, while driving on the highway at approximately 50 - 60 mph, my car unexpectedly downshifted to second gear, causing the car to quickly slow down without cars behind me being alerted by brake lights. There was no accident, as the cars behind me were able to avoid me. Power train · reported at 75,000 miles
