My car stalls intermittently, usually in town while braking or turning, or merely slowing down. It lurches when cruise control is set at higher speeds like it's trying to die. It has happened at least 10 times (DYING) and 5 times (lurching) in the last 3 days. Dealership unable to duplicate more than 1 time and can't figure out what to do next. Have cleaned terminals and replaced crank shaft sensor. Engine and engine cooling · reported at 84,000 miles
The car started stalling and I replaced the plugs, ignition coils (3ea), fuel pressure regulator, took to dealer and their is a seal in the intake that have had problems and it leaked water into the cylinders a little at a time and then let go. They knew they had problems with it, they said so. Est cost $1000.00, Then they will see if the engine is still good. So it could need a new engine. Engine and engine cooling
Vehicle stalled in traffic from time to time. Dealer has looked at vehicle, but couldn't determine the cause.*Ak engine shut off while driving. Driver has trouble steering and braking when this happens. Dealer replaces; pcm, sensor and crankshaft position but the vehicle still has the same problem.
